Finding Love Again
Jan contacted me about setting up a shoot as a Christmas present for her husband. During our call Jan told me her story how she lost her first husband and didn’t think she’d find love again. That is until her path crossed Michael’s path as they were both walking their dogs.
Hear it from Jan about not only finding love again with her new husband, but finding love for her body.
I can say first of all…I had reservations. I always wanted to try a boudoir shoot, however when I was much younger and more fit and comfortable with my body. Now I’m 63 and a newlywed. After a very difficult loss of my husband I found love again! With that said, and being a “senior” woman, I decided it’s now or never to do this for my new husband. He always tells me I’m beautiful, but at this point in my life it’s hard for me to see it.
I fell in love with him because he is kind, caring and patient. When we met after losing our spouses it was too soon for me to think of dating. He knew this and stayed friends with me ….movies, dinner with no strings and was a perfect gentlemen until I was ready and we truly fell in love “gently “.
Michael makes me laugh and can drive me crazy, but aren’t we all this way? He’s very handsome and truly humble. I’m blessed to have found love not only once in my lifetime, but twice.
I must say Karen was extremely comfortable to work with. She complemented me and she told me how wonderful my pictures were going to be, but even at that point I wasn’t sure. I did everything she asked as far as her instructions. I found outfits to suit my personality and to suit the woman that I tried to imply in these pictures. Wow!! OMG! I can’t get over how beautiful they were and how difficult it was to decide on photos! She’s amazing.
Do this for yourself as a woman no matter what is going on in your life to feel good about your body and where you’re at in your life no matter how old you are. She makes you feel beautiful! Thank you Karen for making another woman feel beautiful about herself!
