Love Making 101

On this Valentine’s Day, I want to talk about making love. Before you hurry and click off this post, just stick around for a minute because I’m not talking about THAT kind of love making.

I’m talking about making love with the people around you. We all know this world is in a crazy place right now. Being rude and disrespectful seems to be the norm. I challenge you to find ways to show love to people around you this day and beyond. Here’s a few ideas to get you started: Let someone go ahead of you in line. Pay for someone’s coffee behind you. Shovel a neighbor’s walk. Pick up some trash alongside the road. Give a complete stranger a compliment. Don’t expect anything in return, simply make love.

My second challenge about love making may seem simple, but for many women, it’s not. LOVE YOURSELF. One of my greatest joys in working with clients is walking alongside them in the love making journey. As women we tend to think of ourselves last and we put everyone else’s needs before ours. The time is now to begin the process of learning to love yourself. Self love is a journey – not a destination. It’s not an overnight process or a switch you can flip. It’s putting in the work day after day. Have the tangible reminder of boudoir photos is the perfect way to remind yourself daily of how freakin’ awesome you are.

For many of my clients a big step in the self love journey is booking a shoot. If you’re a women who could use a little extra self love, I’m over here waving at you and pulling up a chair for you in my studio where you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
