A Day That Changes Everything

Transformation.

It’s a word associated a lot with a boudoir experience and boudoir photos. But what REALLY is the meaning behind the word transformation. And how does it relate to the outcome of a boudoir shoot?

According to Webster’s, the definition of transform is as follows:
Transform (verb) a. to change in composition or structure; b. to change the outward form or appearance; c. to change in character or condition.

Vocabularly.com goes on to say “A transformation is a dramatic change in form or appearance. An important event like getting your driver’s license, going to college, or getting married can cause a transformation in your life. A transformation is an extreme, radical change.”

So what on God’s green earth does all of this have to do with a boudoir experience?

I’m so glad you asked.

Let’s start with the obvious. My boudoir experience includes professional hair and makeup. After my clients are done in hair and makeup, they see themselves and can’t believe it’s really them. Immediately, there’s a change in appearance. Please don’t misunderstand me that you need professional hair and makeup to be beautiful. It’s the idea that my clients now see their very own features highlighted in a new way.

Now let’s talk about the lasting transformative outcome of a boudoir shoot. For many of my clients, a boudoir photoshoot has transformed the way they see themselves and feel about themselves. Their gorgeous pictures and products are living proof and a daily reminder of how truly beautiful they are. Pictures don’t lie, but our female brain sure likes to lie to us because we are programed to compare ourselves to unrealistic beauty standards.

I receive countless texts and emails from women after their shoot thanking me for a day that changed everything. See, the transformation that happens as a result of a boudoir shoot trickles down into every aspect of my client’s lives.
